Maintenance Instructions – Shelter Cover
As required to maintain product durability and ensure proper care. To maximize the lifespan of your car shelter cover, follow these steps every spring, before
removing and storing it:
- Cleaning: Use warm water with a small amount of mild soap (e.g., non-degreasing dish soap). Scrub gently with a soft brush or mop, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Avoid strong products (TSP, bleach, car wax) and hard brushes.
- Rinsing: Rinse with water only, without pressure. Pressure washing can force water into the seams, preventing proper drying and reducing the durability of the material.
- Drying: Ensure the cover is clean and completely dry before rolling it up. Inspect the cover (seams, tension, wear). Always roll the windows last.
- Storage: Store the cover in a dry, elevated location (on a shelf), never directly on the floor.
*** Improper care may reduce the product’s durability. Following these instructions is essential to preserve performance and ensure reparability.
